NEHEMIAH PROJECTS
Paraklete Ministries has developed a missions building team made up of a unified network of skilled carpenters & volunteers, who offer assistance to foreign and domestic missionaries that are likeminded in philosophy. This avenue of Paraklete Ministries seeks to offer assistance with building projects. Our hope is to shorten the construction time & lighten the burden that a local ministry may experience due to a building project by offering support in the areas of wood framing, wiring, plumbing rough-ins, HVAC ductwork, roofing, drywall installation, cabinetwork, finish carpentry, painting, door and hardware installation, excavating, and landscaping.
These trips serve as an opportunity to strengthen the building team volunteers by presenting an opportunity for them to use the talents God has entrusted to them, to allow them a unique opportunity to use those talents as an avenue to share the gospel and to encourage their fellow believers, and to trust God with their gifts & abilities so that they may come home and teach others to do likewise. By combining the talents God has given to those within the local ministry & our volunteers we hope “to bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
Our goal is to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ to the “uttermost part of the earth” according to Acts 1:8 through the ministry of building. Over the last 10 years, our teams have been active in this ministry and projects have been completed in Canada, Dominican Republic, Indiana, Liberia, Michigan, Nicaragua, Ohio, Texas, Wyoming, and Yap (Micronesian Islands). Through Nehemiah Projects, we seek to branch out and to pursue potential opportunities wherever the Lord leads us.
